Ainomugisha Matthew

Ainomugisha Matthew is a Ugandan development practitioner at the intersection of youth empowerment, public policy and inclusive development. He leads donor-funded programmes that have equipped over 46,000 marginalised young people with entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work-readiness skills. His expertise spans resource mobilisation, partnerships, inclusion and safeguarding. A Fellow of Emerging Leaders in Australia–Africa Diplomacy, he is pursuing postgraduate studies in policy and international relations. His interests include peace and security; democracy, governance and civic innovation; and migration, mobility and human rights. A lifelong learner who values being empowered, he is passionate about empowering others to become effective community changemakers.
