Kennedy Wangari is an Associate Fellow at the Nala Center, specializing in the intersection of international political economy, public policy, and multilateral diplomacy, with a strong focus on African regional integration and policy innovation. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies at Strathmore University, Kennedy simultaneously works with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in the Civil Society Unit of the Governance Affairs Office.

His extensive experience in international governance includes active participation and contribution to high-level forums like the UN Environment Assembly (2024) and the UN-Habitat Assembly (2023), where he assisted in drafting resolutions and organizing strategic policy events like the UN Science-Policy Business Forum. A proven leader, he served as the 15th Secretary General of the Strathmore University Student Council (2023-2024), demonstrating strong administrative and governance capabilities. Kennedy’s dedication to deconstructing complex global affairs and championing policies that enhance economic development and youth empowerment positions him as a forward-thinking policy analyst poised to make a significant impact on the policy landscape.
